We are excited to introduce Lisa Lebofsky, Licensed Esthetician, as our Employee Spotlight for this month. Lisa has a passion for skincare and our guests love having treatments with her because of the results they receive. Her expertise and nurturing personality are greatly appreciated and evidenced by the glowing reviews we receive about her. “I love taking care of people. If I can make someone’s day a little bit better, that makes me happy.” This month Lisa is sharing her recommendations for good skin care along with her own daily regimen.

MY STORY

Lisa Lebofsky was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida. She moved to Colorado in 1996 and currently resides in Highlands Ranch with her husband, Mike. Practicing and promoting a healthy lifestyle has always been Lisa’s passion and is the foundation from which she cares for her clients. After teaching yoga for many years, Lisa expanded her skills in the healing arts field by becoming a licensed esthetician.
Having worked at several spas before joining Five Wellbeing Studio + Spa eighteen months ago, Lisa brings a great deal of experience to the position. For Lisa, working with clients to improve their skin is a rewarding profession that she enjoys doing every day. Furthering her commitment to the whole wellbeing of our guests, Lisa is currently preparing to go back to school to receive her license in massage therapy and become a dual therapist.

TIPS FOR GOOD SKIN CARE

As a licensed esthetician, Lisa’s primary goal is to help our clients with their skincare needs by incorporating a good daily regimen.  She says, “your therapist is a partner with you in your skin care routine. Just as important as regular treatments at the spa are, so is a high quality, consistent home-care program.” With the weather getting colder, Lisa is recommending our skin-correcting facials. They address seasonal concerns as well as individual complexion issues. Your therapist will analyze your skin and make customized treatment and product recommendations based on your specific needs.
For anti-aging concerns, Lisa loves the Quartz Rewind Facial. This facial is performed exclusively on our quartz table. Lisa explains, “There are many healing benefits to quartz. It is grounding and helps boost energy and stimulate the immune system, balancing your entire body.” We build up negative ions in our bodies from diet, the environment, pollution, etc., and as these build up they cause premature aging – and over time can lead to disease. The properties of the quartz neutralize negative ions. “I like to do this treatment because it is a huge benefit to our guests. I see the difference the treatment makes on the guest from when they arrive, to when they leave – they are completely transformed. It feels like you just got a 90-minute warm hug.”
The Quartz Rewind Facial is a 90-minute facial designed to slow the aging process. It is exfoliating, stimulating, and hydrating and includes the NuFACE Microcurrent, which further enhances the anti-aging benefits. The microcurrent lifts, tones, and tightens the skin from the inside out. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin leaving a visible lifting effect.
The Quartz Rewind is the only facial that uses our new Eminence Gemstone line, so our guests are receiving the benefits of the quartz as well as the gemstones in the products. The facial concludes with a specialized facial massage using a cool rose quartz stone along the lymph lines in the face, neck, and décolleté. The cooling effect of the stone stimulates detoxification and helps with circulation.

MY OWN SKIN CARE ROUTINE AND HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF WORK

For her personal skin care routine, Lisa uses many of the Eminence products we have at the spa. She believes the three most important things you can do for your skin are regular exfoliation, sunscreen, and antioxidants – specifically vitamin C. Lisa uses the Eminence vitamin C every day
Outside of work, Lisa loves to exercise, hike, and practice yoga. “I am just a huge proponent of wellness. I believe in eating clean, exercising, and taking care of your body from the inside out – overall wellbeing.”
