Renee Caruso, Esthetician
This month, we are excited to introduce our esthetician, Renee Caruso, as our employee spotlight of the month. Our customers love her because she is so warm and caring and brings a wealth of knowledge about skincare to all her treatments. She has a background in medical esthetics and owned her own business in Boulder for years. Renee’s passion was born from the need to heal her own skin from acne scarring and the natural effects of aging. A native of Miami, she also suffered from sun damage and sensitive skin from a very early age.
Renee is a strong advocate of plant-based medicine and has studied it for many years. She emphasized that as a society, we are moving towards a more holistic approach for ourselves and the benefit of the planet. We are learning that the long-held uses and traditions of plants might actually work more effectively than any pharmaceutical product.
Renee is thrilled that we have added our new CBD facial to our treatment menu and describes it as a, “highly effective, soothing and relaxing facial that packs powerful, restorative, long term results.”
She has found CBD to be a very powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. She said, “It reduces the redness in my skin and, unlike other products, the molecular formulation penetrates very well.” In addition, “A lot of people in Colorado struggle with sensitive skin, windburn and sunburn due to the active lifestyle here and the CBD products help lift the redness and cool the skin for fast, healing relief.”

When we asked Renee about her favorite product, she said, “It’s hard to say because Mary’s truly is an amazing product line, but I do love the hyaluronic acid.” That particular product has 50mg full-spectrum activated hemp extract along with a peptide complex and Vitamin B5 to really hydrate and tone the skin while improving elasticity and combating the damage from UV rays.
